When Engineers get Creative!! - Bimota TesiH2

Updated: Nov 16, 2019

Recently Kawasaki has announced the revival of Bimota an Italian origin company which Kawasaki controls, to produce the ravishing H2 with an edge. The Bimota Tesi H2 concept.

So why is the Bike looking weird? What is that alien looking front portion? Have they Bi mistake attached the rear of another bike on to this one? Damn the engineers must have gone crazy with this build. But that is how creative rules over innovations.

Kawasaki Just took its most powerful engine and put it under a predator of its kind, with the looks coming out from far in space, hovering to kill all odds in the bike segment. They unveiled this one of a sort beauty at EICMA 2019, having people go bonkers over its make.

So what is so exciting about this Bike?

Apart from it housing the most powerful engine in the two-wheeler segment, it has a tailor-made steering hub in the center of the bike. This unique mechanism is where Bimota earned its name.

How does the bike turn?

The handle bar is attached to the front swing arm with multiple complex linkages which help the bike turn, think of it in this way, you are driving a 2-wheel car. There is also a second rod which stationary and helps keep the bike in line while moving.

The housing of the front shocks is adjacent to the rear in the Tesi H2, unlike other models – Tesi, both of which are electronically controlled. The travel of it suspensions isn’t as much as a regular telescopic or the USD forks but the bite of brakes are more effective than that of the latter as the complete inertia is transferred to the chassis which makes it more stable than any other bike.

Speaking of the drive, it is a fascinating build that will give a pleasurable driving experience and we are curiously itching to see this mean beauty to be unleashed on open roads. This concept was unveiled at the EICMA 2019 in Milan and should head into production mid-2020. The bike will be available in the overseas markets. Showing off its neat edges, the whopping heart of an engine and the innovative center steering hub, looking at the complexities of it’s make it certainly isn’t going to be easy on the pocket and is going to come with a limited make tag.
