Aprilia was teasing the world with this new bike in the making, keeping everyone guessing and eagerly waiting for this launch. Aprilia finally unveiled its latest flagship model, the younger sibling to the RSV4, the "Aprilia RS 660". OMG! Yeah! WOW! are just a few adjectives that will pop into your head when you lay eyes on this beautiful beast.
Aprilia RS 660 is equipped with a 660 CC in line parallel twin engine pouring out 100bhp, having a 6-speed gear box, slipper assist clutch and an up/down quick-shifter, the bike is ready to take off
The aggressive stance just makes it so perfect for early bloomers on the track. Yes, it isn’t a hard-shouting machine like the Kawasaki ZX-6R, but it does what it is built to do just so sweetly, on and off the track.
Weighing just 169 Kgs just mantis looking face can be swift through corners where the 6R just might lose the battle. Equipped with 41mm adjustable stanchions forks and a rear fully adjustable mono shock. This superpower is tamed with the help of 320mm radially mounted Brembo brakes up front and 200mm Brembo brakes at the rear.
The full color 5-inch TFT display shows every possible numbers and readings required by the rider, including the 5 riding modes (3 street & 2 Track). The bike will be equipped with the brand’s very own APRC (Aprilia Performance Ride Control) electronic suite - which includes traction control, wheelie control and cornering ABS along with 6 axis IMU to keep the rider safe.
