Triumph India has added two gems in their portfolio and the heritage continues with the limited edition Triumph Scrambler 1200 Mc Queen and the Scrambler 900 Sandstorm editions.

The bike limited to only 1000 units worldwide will be sporting the 1200cc scrambler engine churning out 89hp of power @ 7,250rpm and 110Nm @ 4,500rpm. The bike is an homage to the bike used by the legendary actor and stuntman Steve McQueen in the movie 'The Great Escape'. It gets brushed foil knee pads, hand-painted gold lining, gold heritage Triumph logos, Steve McQueen tank graphic, brushed aluminum Monza cap and brushed stainless steel tank strap, an aluminum high-level front mudguard, engine protection bar, aluminum radiator guard, and brown seat with Triumph branding. Being limited edition the bikes will be individually numbered and the owner will get a certificate of authenticity signed by Triumph’s CEO, Nick Bloor, and Steve McQueen's son Chad McQueen.

Another add on to the limited editions will be the Sandstorm which is limited to 775units, worldwide. The bike sports a 900cc engine while the power stands at 64.1hp @ 7,250rpm and 80Nm of Torque @ 3,250rpm. The bike will come equipped with a factory-fitted high-level front mudguard, rear number plate light, aluminum sump guard, headlight grille with Triumph branding, and protective rubber knee pads as standard.

Triumph Motorcycles India Business Head Shoeb Farooq said in a statement "These motorcycles have a legacy, especially the Steve McQueen edition. Given that it is based on the all-new Scrambler 1200 XE, further adds to the appeal of the motorcycles, as these will be the only XE variants to come to Indian shores this year,". He added "Both the Scrambler Special editions deliver well on power and performance and come with a host of additional features that set them apart from their regular variants,".
