Honda one of the prime players in the motorcycle world with its flagship bike, the CBR has always been relished and admired across the world. The quarter liter bike, CBR 250 R, when it was launched in India, was one of the best of its kind in the market; a little on the expensive side but it captured the market like it was always meant to.

The 250 CC single cylinder engine, produced 25.7 bhp @ 8,500 rpm and 22.9 Nm torque @ 7,000 rpm and has been one of the best engines in its class. The bike weighed 167 kgs dry; nimble enough to go through city traffic, maintain clean lines on the track like a pro and hold your grip on the highway while on tours like a well balanced piece of machinery.

Honda has been present in the Indian market with CBR 250R since 2012, the VFR 1000 inspired design is coming to the end of its journey in April 2020, failing casualty to the BS6 norms.

Nevertheless Honda is all prep to hit the market with another extraordinary offing. The Honda CBR 250 RR

The beating master, racing replica is just breath taking. The 250cc parallel twin, liquid cooled engine produces 38.2 bhp @ 12,500 rpm and 23.3 Nm torque @11,000 rpm. With 3 riding modes, road – sport – sport+, claiming top speed of 165+. The body is like a piece of art with clean sharp lines, serving it purpose to turn heads as it passes by.

Keeping the road well illuminated, the bike has a dual LED headlight unit and it also keeps the rear traffic aware of its anchoring with a dual LED tail lamp unit.

The crisp braking system keeps the bike grounded with 310mm hydraulic disc, dual piston in the front and 240mm hydraulic disc single piston in the rear and also a dual channel ABS to keep the bike up straight and the tyres from locking, when the brakes are slammed hard.

Although the official date of launch is not disclosed for the Indian market, every bike enthusiast is eagerly waiting to get his or her hands on one. We too at Bike Mantraa are waiting for the launch date so as to get a piece of same cake and share it all our readers.
