Nearly 6 months post the news of the Norton Motorcycle and TVS coming together, Norton has filed trademarks for various names that might rise from the history and make its way to India.
The trademark applications, filed this week with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, are the first potential model names registered by the British company which are “Norton Electra“, “Norton Fastback“, “Norton Navigator“, “Norton Nomad“, “Norton Ranger” and “Combat“.
As the names above suggest, not only would this mean that we would witness new bikes, but the same would be having a range that will start from 350cc and range to V4 engines and all with the retro British classic touch to them. No doubt that the bikes would be exquisite, but TVS might want to make sure that the bikes are designed and would purportedly help it price competitively in the market.
