KTM 390 Adventure launched in India "FIRST"

Updated: Jan 22, 2020

As we said earlier and damn from every perspective KTM has made the dream come true for India by launching the 390 adventure first in India.

THE KTM 390 Adventure

The ADV has the same 373.2 CC single cylinder engine from the Duke, producing 44bhp of power at 9,000 rpm and peak torque of 37Nm at 7,000 rpm, these 2 wheels can keep pushing you to ask for more and more, off or on road. And the best part being it is BS6 compliant, which was quite naturally expected. Now this definitely makes path for the Duke 390 BS6 to be coming on its way.

The 390 adventure has a whole new feel, most visible aspect is the seat height and the ground clearance, at 855mm the seat height has been increased by 25mm and at 200mm the ground clearance isn’t that great for an off roader but its higher than its sibling by 15mm. The wheel base has also been increased to 1430mm which is 80mm more than the Duke 390, to increase its stability and control while cutting through the wilderness. The whole assembly fitted and compacted within the powder coated Steel trellis frame hung comfortably over 43mm front WP APEX forks and rear shock absorber. The bike has a 100/90 - 19 inch front tyre and 130/80 - 17 inch tyre at the rear. The power is delivered using chain drive with a slipper clutch, .

Rest all the adventure aspects come as standard like the bigger shocks travel, bigger fuel tank (a litre more though), larger wind screen, higher handle bars, bash plate, etc. The bike is equipped with Cornering ABS as standard and traction control.
