Ducati Panigale V2 Bookings open in India for Rs. 1 lakh

Ducati India has opened the bookings for the most anticipated and awaited bike from the stable for 2020, "The Panigale V2".

There is no doubt in announcing that the bike is the most anticipated one, considering the bike will be the first from the firm to confirm with the BS6 norms.

A stunner in every angle to mention the least, the bike is leaner than the elder sibling the V4 but muscular is written all over the design. The bike now sports a new compact exhaust silencer just protruding out and designed beautifully in line with the frame and not eccentrically sitting out.

On the motor front the Panigale V2 replaces the 959 with the same 955cc Superquadro Engine churning out a power figure of 155 hp @ 10,750 rpm and 104 Nm @ 9,000 rpm of torque. Compared to the engine on the 959 Panigale it delivers an additional 5 hp and 2 Nm more of torque with a compression ratio of 12.5:1 is sure to deliver a performance worth drooling for.

The Panigale V2 will feature modern electronics based on a 6-axis inertial platform which instantly detects the bike's roll, yaw and pitch angles. The new electronics package include the cornering ABS, including traction control, engine brake control and wheelie control. All controls are incorporated in the three Riding Modes (Race, Sport, Street) and can be adjusted via the new 4.3" color TFT dashboard.

The bike will be placed conviniently over Rs. 15 lakh considering the 959 was being sold at Rs. 15.30 Lakh. Nevertheless the fan following is already on the rise for the bike and the price will not be a hinder in the interest of a true Ducati fan.
