BMW unveil the "40 years of GS edition" bikes with black and yellow livery

BMW unveil the special "40 years of GS edition" version of their popular bikes.



BMW Motorrad has revealed a new graphic scheme for the F 750 GS, F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure, called the '40 Years of GS Edition'. The colour scheme is a black and yellow livery to mark 40 years of the revered GS.



Apart from the colour scheme, the '40 Years of GS Edition' motorcycles will feature LED indicators and a USB charging port as standard equipment. The bikes will also come equipped with ABS Pro and DTC (Dynamic Traction Control) as standard. Additionally, the F 850 GS now also comes with an adjustable screen and high-level GPS mount, as well as a TFT dash.


On the mechanical front the bike remains the same with all three models powered by an 853cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is Euro 5 compliant. Wherein the F 750 GS produces 77hp at 7,500rpm and 83Nm of torque at 6,000rpm and the elder siblings, the F 850 GS and F 850 GS Adventure, it generates 95hp at 8,250rpm and 92Nm of torque at 6,250 rpm.


The bikes will be available in the 2021 special editions. The availability and prices are yet to be revealed.
