Akrapovic announces new slip-on exhaust system for 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa

Akrapovic has unveiled its latest offering for the Peregrine Falcon as a slip-on exhaust system.

Latest in line from Akrapovic, for the Mighty Busa, is a Slip-On Line (Titanium) exhaust system. The Akrapovič R&D department made sure that the aerodynamic design of the bike not compromised in any which way. Having said that the beautifully designed exhaust sit perfectly in line with the dynamic design of the bike to follow the bike’s aero for optimum efficiency.

The Exhaust is constructed from a black-coated lightweight titanium outer sleeve on the mufflers and high-grade stainless steel link pipes, along with carbon-fibre end caps and carbon-fibre heat shields. To be exact, the exhaust saves a staggering 31.6% on weight for the bike and in turn bundled with the great throttle response adds 1.6 hp of power at 8,700 rpm and 1.9 Nm of torque at 8,400 rpm when tested on the Akrapovič dyno against a Hayabusa with a standard stock exhaust.

Additionally Akrapovic has a RAcing line Titanium full exhaust System which shed the bike off with a whopping 14Kgs, while giving a boost of 8.7 hp of power @9,900rpm and 5.7 Nm of Torque @8,000rpm.

The exhaust meets the Euro 5 EC/ECE type approval due to a catalytic converter within each muffler. The same does not require any remapping and is a simple slip-on system. Akrapovic lovers will be waiting eagerly for the system exhaust to come to our shores, for an experience worth the wait. Meanwhile one can experience the sound over the official website of Akrapovic.
