To have an adventure bike is something that everyone longs for nowadays and KTm did a fantastic job by launching the 390 Adv for the ones who wanted a n entry level adventure bike. To top it off now KTM 250 Adv is on its way for a grand launch in India.
The bike is up for bookings at dealers and can be booked for Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 5,000 depending on the dealers.
Design and Mechanics:
Speaking of the design the bike will be sporting the same design elements with the KTM 390 Adv. Quite obviously the bike shares the unit with the 250 duke. It has a 248cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine which generates 30 hp of power @ 9,000rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm.
The bike will be carrying a price tag of 35k higher than its naked sibling and would be purportedly be selling for around 2.50 lakhs. For this premium the bike would definitely be having premium features over the Duke 250 like the switchable ABS and a TFT monitor (we hope!) but will be short of the features like ride by wire, traction control and others premium features as the firm has to keep the price lower and affordable for the KTM and Adv lovers.
Hopefully the bike will be launching officially by the end of this month or next month starting. It will be locking horns with the RE Himalayan and Hero Impulse. We are sure to enjoy the bike, once we get our hands on it and will keep you updated on the launch.
