Ducati, at it's World Premiere for 2021 aired the Episode-02 yesterday, and the 2021 versions for the XDiavel and Scrambler were unveiled, due to be rolled out. On one side we have the XDiavel that has been an epitome of power and design put together and on the other side we have the Scrambler which is now a blend of the earlier two versions available and they bring back the red to the Scrambler.
The 2021 XDiavel will come in two new versions i.e, the XDiavel Blackstar which has the black and grey paint scheme with red line striking in between, and the other being the XDiavel Dark, which has literally blown our minds with the all Matte black finish and clearly stands out to be the show stopper. The two new versions of bike will have a 1262cc Testastretta DVT engine which churns out 160hp of power at 9,500rpm and 125Nm of peak torque @ 5,000rpm. The XDiavel S will revive the same engine as the 2020 version.
The Scrambler on the other hand has been reworked on and is now more of a mixture between the Cafe Racer and Full Throttle. It's called the "Nightshift". The bike now gets a flat ribbed designed seat and a flat handle bar which again sits in the middle arrangement of the two prior bikes. Sadly the bike will be offered in Grey color only.
On the other hand the Ducati Icon will be introducing the Red colour or should i say Ducati is bringing its trademark red to the bike. There are colour changes for the Scrambler Desert Sled with a blue, red and white colour scheme.
Well as of now its a bit too early to comment when the bikes would touch the Indian soil. Nevertheless the ticker is on and we are ever eager to get our hands on the machines!!
