2021 Aprilia RS125 and Tuono 125 revealed

Aprilia has unveiled the 2021 range of the 125cc bikes that comprise the RS125 and the Tuono125.

Both bikes are powered by the same 124.2cc, four-stroke, four valve, liquid-cooled single-cylinder mill that is now Euro5 compliant, which churn out 14.7bhp at 10,000rpm and 11.2Nm at 8000rpm.

Both bikes are held up by an aluminum perimeter frame, suspended on 40mm USD forks on the front and a monoshock at the rear. The anchors are put down a four-piston caliper, radially mounted on a 300mm disc at the front and a 218mm disc at the rear that uses a single-pot caliper. The rider hangs over the seat at 820mm while the Tuono sports an 810mm seat height. Both bikes use a 100/80-17 front and 140/70-17 rear wheel setup. With a tank capacity to hold 14.5 litres of fuel the bikes tip the scales at 144kg (kerb weight).

Now if rumours are to be believed the bikes are to make a landfall on our coast and will be locking horns with the 125cc masters here like the KTM RC125 and duke among others.
